A group of foreign residents of Benalmadena took part in a trip organised by the Foreign Residents’ Department. The trip was part “Off the Beaten Track” cycle, aims to teach foreigners more about the most emblematic locations of Malaga Province, their history, festivals, and gastronomy. We visited the remains of the fortress, Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Church, ad other locations as well as a wine cellar and a typical local restaurant.

Councillar for Foreign Residents Adolfo Fernandez said the council will continue to organize trips for foreigners and locals to get to know moer of the province and Andalucía, which is an important step in integrating, practicing the language and getting to know Spanish history, culture and food.
