The National Office of Statistics has informed Benalmadena Town Hall that 7,000 foreign residents may be removed from the "Padrón" because they have not confirmed their presence here in recent years.

Those residents who have not renewed their registration during the last two years should confirm their registration (Padrón) in Benalmadena otherwise they will be removed from the official list of residents and will not be able to receive any of the benefits afforded e.g: reduction in rates (IBI), rubbish charges, social help etc…

If your name is on the list please ensure that you come to the Padrón Department in Benalmadena Town Hall, Casa de la Cultura in Arroyo de la Miel or Tourist Information Office in Benalmadena Costa before 30th November 2012 with the following documents:

· For EU citizens: valid passport or identity card and one copy, residency (optional).
· For non-EU citizens: valid passport and a copy, residency card.
