Saint Patrick’s festivities attracted almost 1,000 people. The main event took place in the parque de la Paloma where there was plenty of food and drink. The event was organized by the Irish Association and began with mass at the Carmen church.

The Mayor Paloma García, accompanied at the event by Foreign Residents’ Councillor, adolfo Fernandez, wished everyone a happy Saint Patrick’s Day and encouraged them to continue celebrating their traditions in their new home, Benalmadena. Fernandez said that the town hall will contiune to work towards the integration of foreign residents in the town.
