The Plaza de la Mezquita was the secene last Saturday of an advance celebration of St. George’s Day. The event was opened by the Mayor of Benalmadena, Paloma García Galvez and other representatives from the Town Hall. There were many stands including several clubs and associations as well as local businesses with a British interest and organisations such as the English Cementery in Malaga, which were hoping to rise awarness of their fund-raising activities. There was on stage entertainment throughout the day, featuring local groups. The Money raised during this event go to ANABE and AFAB
