The Health Centre in Benalmádena Pueblo is now a reality. The new Centre together with the fairground los Nadales, is one of the main projects, undertaken by the government team in Benalmadena Pueblo. The project had a budget of 339,580 euros and was financed by the Protect Plan. The new Health Centre will double the current capacity and will have a pediatrician, family planning unit, two general practitioners and two nursing rooms.

The Mayor of Benalmadena is satisfied with the works that will be concluded shortly. He said “we have given priority to the construction of the Health Centre. The Health Services depend directly on the Andalusian Government, but perhaps if we had waited for them to act it could have taken several years”.

The Councillor for Town Planning and Public Work Jesus Fortes added ”it was difficult to realise this project, but our persistence and hard work made it possible. We are pleased that the inhabitants of Benalmadena Pueblo will have a new, modern Health Centre in a few weeks time”.
