This coming Sunday, August 3, 2025, Benalmádena will host the traditional Romería in honor of the Virgen de la Cruz, a day filled with devotion, music, and community spirit.

The festivity will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Holy Mass, followed at 11:00 a.m. by the departure of the romería procession accompanying the Patron Saint on her journey to Parque Rústico Casablanca.

This year’s event will feature 13 decorated carts representing various local groups and associations.

In the afternoon, the celebration will come alive with live performances by the popular Nuevo Día and Kalima orchestras, bringing music and joy to the gathering.
