ST. PATRICK’S DAY

On Tuesday, March 17, Plaza La Mezquita will become the epicenter of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration, one of the most emblematic festivities of the Irish community. The event, organized by Irish Association Spain and Birra Art, will run from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., featuring a varied program that promises fun for the whole family.

At 11:30 a.m., a parade will begin at Plaza de la Iglesia Inmaculada Concepción, pass along Avenida de la Constitución, and finish at Plaza de la Mezquita, where attendees will be able to enjoy a unique festive atmosphere.

Chloe Carron will act as the event’s master of ceremonies, guiding attendees through the different activities and performances. Among the highlights of the day are performances by groups such as The Celtic Dancers, BANDido, The Celtic Chicks, Mama Cath & The Soul Sisters, Totally Folk’d, and a special visit from the Irish School, all of whom will enrich the celebration with traditional music and dance.

In addition to the cultural program, visitors will be able to enjoy a carefully selected range of Irish cuisine and some of the best Irish craft beers, making this event a must for all lovers of Celtic culture and good food.

The celebration of St. Patrick’s Day in Benalmádena is one of the most important festivities for the Irish community living in the town, and this year promises to be one of the most special editions yet, combining tradition, music, art, and a festive atmosphere for audiences of all ages.
