The Mayor Paloma García recently met with around a hundred Finnish residents of Benalmadena as a part of a round of contacts with the foreign-resident community organized by the Foreigners’ Department.

One of the mayor’s most important messages for the foreign residents was the importance and advantages of registering on the town hall census or pardon. Doing so not only helps the town secure more stable funding for basic services but also provides directly economic benefits to residents via subsidies on local taxes and fees
