Synopsis: ‘Camaron’ is the never told biography of the music genius José Monje Cruz alias "Camarón de la Isla". A route around the life and work of this magnificent singer who innovated flamenco music, influenced new generations and broke social and artistic barriers. His wishes, successes and struggles are the ingredients of a personal line that are reflected in his particular point of view to make music, a new manner of making and listening to flamenco that Camaron showed to the world. Camaron appears accompanied by well-known celebrities of flamenco culture in every period of his career, such as Paco de Lucía, Tomatito, Paco Cepero, etc. His most prolific period has many ups and downs that affected his love affairs, his national and international recognition, the recording of albums that revolutionised flamenco, his wedding with Dolores "La Chispa", his flirtation with drugs and physical deterioration at an early age.
