Bibi Blocksberg loves wizardry, so much so that she has left her studies aside, specially maths. Her parents send her to spend summer vacation in the boarding school of Altenberg Castle.

The school s principal is an oddball, Mr. Quirin Bartels, and has a secret, and Bibi s roommate Carina, a Britney Spears clone, is a total pain. She also meets Elea, who has been in a wheelchair since an accident. Bibi would like to help Elea walk again. But someone else also knows about her magical powers: Bibi s archenemy Rabia von Katzenstein, a witch who tries to stop her from doing so.
