The Europe Class sailing Spanish Cup will be held from 9 to 12 March at CLUB NAUTICO MARITIMO OF BENALMADENA. This is the second consecutive year this national event is held. Eighty vessels from all over Spain are expected to take part in it, as well some international yachtsmen and yachtswomen. A total of twelve 60-minute tests are programmed throughout the four regatta days. They consist of technical rounds similar to those of the Olympic Games for this type of tests.
A series of complementary acts will be also held during the regatta days, such as: naval scale models and reproductions of the Gran Regata Colón 92; a visit to an army ship, kite-surf exhibition and radio control helicopters.
