1st NATIONAL UNIVERSITY TUNAS CONTEST

Organized  by the Technical Industrial Engineering Tuna of Malaga, represented by Mr. Alberto Cuevas Martín, with the collaboration of Benalmadena Town Hall Festivities Department

There is no doubt that this contest will have a cultural, youth atmosphere, very different from the botellón culture; a lively one, where everybody will enjoy music in the streets of Benalmadena. 

Traditional music and joy, typical of these university groups, in this time of the year, is a great attraction for any town that, like the case of Benalmadena, organises many events throughout the year.

Every single tuna participating in this contest comes from a different part of Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Cartagena, etc...), and therefore is also a good oportunity for promoting Benalmadena among them.

20:30 approx:
Contes of Rondas to the most representative women of the town. Then each tuna will go a pasacalle along the streets of  San Juan, Vicente Alexandre, Blas Infante, Cl. Sol, Plaza de la Mezquita.

Plaza de la Mezquita of Arroyo de la Miel

Tuna contest, where each tuna will perform for 30 minutes.

23:00
Trophy awarding and closing ceremony.
