Plot:

D. Perlimplin, urged by his maid Marcolfa, is involved in a cynical rite of a marriage engagement. Belisa, forced by her mother, accepts to get married. Perlimplim soon discovers the naked body of Elisa and feels sensuality, which he confuses with love. On the contrary, Belisa shows a serious rebelliousness as this is an imposed loved, and devotes herself to the anxious desire of her unknown lover. After finding out he has been deceived, Perlimplim does not stop until he takes the cruellest revenge. The Goblins are the only ones that remain, and will lead the tragic destiny of both lovers till death.
