Interesting tour around the villages on the right bank of the river Genal. You can enjoy the panoramic views. Also, you can connect to other routes that take you to the villages of the Alto Genal and Bajo Genal area until the Valle del Guadiaro region.
This tour starts in Atajate for Benadalid. You can leave your car by Los Pilarejos restaurant, next to an holm oak on a land hillock. The road to Jimera de Libar is on the right and further on there is an ascending path that you must take. On these slopes grapevines and olive trees are grown. Also, this area is a good viewing point of La Serranía. The amazing El Palo and Martín Gil summits are to the west, they are white and with holm oaks on their slopes.  The reddish summits of Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja and the Jardón, Canalizo and Porrejón mountains are to the south and east, and the river Genal flows by a leafy deep valley.
