It was founded in December 1990, coinciding with the festivity of Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of music. Therefore, they will be 16 years old next November 22.
In its development, the following works stand out: the presentation concert, in Casa de Cultura, with Banda Municipal; Fundación de la Muestra Coral de Villancicos de Benalmadena; Concert in the Cathedral-Mosque of Cordoba with the Symphonic Orchestra; Concert in the choral cycle of Malaga, in Teatro Cervantes; in 2001, they found the Festival de la Canción Marinera in Benalmadena; they take part in the 17th Faro Choral Festival in Portugal; they take part in the Marrakech Choral Festival in Morocco; they were awarded with the 1st prize (racimo de uva) of the Asociación Amigos de Benalmadena and the medal for the cultural merit of the Benalmadena Town Hall.
