On Saturday 17, at 20:30, there will be the 5th choral venue "Benalmádena en Clave". This traditional event is an important one in the local cultural programming, as you can see by the great number of visitors who have been coming ever since it started in 2005. The choral Amigos de la Musica from Velez has been invited this year. They are one of the oldest associations in the Malaga province and, under the direction of Manuel Sanchidrian, will be opening the event. The choral Ciudad de Benalmadena, conducted by Óscar Luis Sánchez, will be perfoming the second part. They will be offering a selection of works of their most recent repertoire together with the two absolute premiers reserved for this year’s edition. As usual, this event intends to offer a wide range of styles of choral pholyphony, and on this occasion habaneras, espirituales negros, as well as Iberoamerican folklore, boleros and regional music will be performed, among others.
This event is organised by Coral Ciudad de Benalmádena and is sponsored by the Culture Department of Benalmadena Town Hall.
