Synopsis: In a remote place to the north of Kenya, the most tenacious activist of the area, Tessa Quayle, is brutally murdered. A local doctor that accompanied her has run away, and it seems it was a passionate crime. Sandy Woodrow, Sir Bernard Pellegrin and remaining members of the High British Commissioner are convinced that Tessa’s widowed husband, gentle little ambitious diplomat Justin Quayle, will leave this matter up to them, but they are wrong. His professional diplomatic career is no longer balanced after he looses the woman he loved so much. These two people were so different but loved each other so much and had a happy marriage. The memories of such marriage push Justin to take a decision for the first time ever in his personal and professional life. Hunted by remorse and hurt by rumours of his wife’s alleged unfaithfulness, Justin surprises himself by throwing himself into a dangerous adventure. He decided to clean the good name of his wife and end what she had started. In order to do so, he must learn against the clock how the pharmaceutical industry works, as Tessa was about to discover a scandal, and he would travel two continents in search for the truth. He will soon realise that there was a lethal conspiracy that has killed innocent people and put his at risk.
