Rubén Lara, from Malaga, at 29, has become the revelation guitarist of the latest generation as he is the regular guitarist for the most sought-after singer of the moment: Israel Fernández.
It is also requested by figures of the stature of Miguel Poveda, Lela Soto, José Canela and a long etcetera. Rubén's playing draws from the classicism of flamenco guitar, from schools such as Jerez or Morón, and transforming all of them to build his own sound.
On this occasion we have obtained a unique opportunity to perform for the first time in a solo concert and it will be to open our V Benalmádena Flamenco Guitar Fest on May 17, at El Bil Bil Castle.
