Nieve Joven 2006

Nieve Joven 2006

Andalusian young people or those living in Andalusia, between 18 and 30 years old, can now register for the Nieve Joven 2006 campaign, organized by the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud (IAJ) for the sixth consecutive year. The aim is to promote skiing among young people as well as learning about Andalusian natural areas. With this initiative, IAJ offers 400 young people the opportunity to stay in the youth hostel of Sierra Nevada, in 8 turns, which means 50 people per province. Each turn is from Sunday to Friday, with the following periods per province: Seville, from January 5 to 20; Jaen, from January 22 to 27; Almería, from January 29 to February 3; Granada, from February 5 to 10; Huelva, from February 12 to 17; Cádiz, from February 19 to 24; Malaga, from March 5 to 10 and Cordoba, from March 12 to 17. Applications must be presented or sent, along with the Id. Card photocopy, to the provincial office of Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud where turns are assigned. Time for applications ends 30 days before the starting time of each course. Only one form per person. All applicants will be successful if the number of applications does not exceed the number of those offered; otherwise, by drawing. The awarding date shall be made public and the admitted list shall be published on the notice boards of the provincial offices of the IAJ. The cost of the activities pack is 170 euros including transport; accommodation; maintenance; hiring of skiing material; 12 hours courses given by acknowledged schools; forfeits; medical and accident insurances; and instructor.
