When Agamemnon returns from the Trojan War, he is greeted by his wife Clytemnestra, who kills him with the help of his lover Aegisthus. It is from that moment that the story turns into tragedy. Electra decides to avenge the death of her father with the help of her brother Orestes and thus make the murderers pay for her crime.
