Classic comedy full of humor, in which social and political criticism merge with the personal and professionally committed life of the great Spanish writer. Galdós has just died and finds himself before the gates of hell where he is received by some devils who, despite admiring him, must judge his actions in the Final Judgment process. The writer sets himself up as his own lawyer to defend himself against him and, in order to justify his life and his work, he cites three allegorical characters as witnesses: Women, Literature and Spain. Finally, the diabolical court rules on Benito's faultless honesty and the value of his creations, but he makes an unexpected decision that will surprise everyone.
