On April 29, the Calamorro Skyrace 2023 will be held, which will turn Benalmádena into the epicenter of this sport, since the test will also kick off the Skyrunning World Series, an international competition made up of 13 tests in 8 different countries.

The race will be televised on RTVE on April 29 and can also be followed via streaming on YouTube. With this, the level of the test that has been held for 14 years is raised, managing to put it on the map of mountain races at a national and international level.

In the main test, the 27.5 km 'Skyrace' will be competed by elite athletes from all over the world and will test their performance on a route that will reach the summit of Mount Calamorro (771 m) with a positive difference in altitude of 2,270 meters . The test can be followed live on the state public channel Teledeporte and also on Streaming on YouTube, with images and information in real time. There are also other modalities such as the CXM Cadet Juvenil of 9.3 km and the Junior and Open of 17 km. Both federated and non-federated people may participate in all the tests.
