Quetzal route 2006


Young people who are between 22 and 33 years old can take part as instructors in the Quetzal route 2006, an incredible opportunity to make a study and adventure trip. People who are interested to do the selection tests for the next route’s instructors must send their CV before March 15 to [email protected].


Participants must be Spanish and hold specific diplomas in water and terrestrial life-saving and hold a university degree. All selected instructors for the Quetzal route must work intensively and continuously from June 15 to August 1, 2006. In addition to the essential requirements above, the following will also be considered: a letter addressed to the organising team explaining the reasons why the candidate is applying for the instructors selection, specific training in outdoors techniques and activities, experience in camping and long activities with young people, cultural, history and geographical knowledge of Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and Spain; qualifications and experience in scuba diving, and being a member of a previous expedition of Ruta Quetzal or Aventura 92. Three selective phases have been established: until March 15, 2006, submission of a CV; from March 20 to April 18 2006, selection of the 40 best CVs and physical and ability tests; and until May 10, 2006, the final results of this selection process.
